Vienna Investments Ltd is has a long track record in investment and operation of radio stations in Ireland. The company represents the original founding investors of Capital Radio Productions Ltd, the station that operates FM104. It is also shareholder in Red FM Cork. The shareholders of Vienna Investments are Dermot Hanrahan, Pearse Farrell, Peter Aiken, Maurice Cassidy, Ulick McEvaddy, Greg Sparks and John Sparks.
Bay Broadcasting Ltd
Bay Broadcasting Ltd is Irish-owned radio investment company. Founded in 2007, the company is one of the founding shareholders in Radio Nova. It is also holds substantial shareholding in Choice Broadcasting Ltd, operator of multi-city Classic Hits 4FM and in Star Broadcasting Ltd, operator of Sunshine 106.8, Dublin. The shareholders of Bay Broadcasting are Kevin Branigan, Mike Ormonde and Tom Anderson.
Des Whelan
Des is the Managing Director of WLRfm in Waterford and a director of Beat 102-103. A founding shareholder in both stations, Des Whelan is a former Chairman of Independent Radio Sales and was also instrumental in setting up both INN and IRS in the early 1990′s. Des brings more than 30 years radio experience and is recognised as one of Ireland most respected industry professionals.
Pat McDonagh
Pat McDonagh is reknowned as one of Ireland’s leading software entrepreneurs. He founded and successfully floated two e-learning compaies on Nasdaq, CBT Systems in 1995 and Riverdeep in 2000. Pat is also a significant shareholder and Chairman of Thirdforce plc, a global provider of e-learning and assessment products, which is listed on the London AIM and Dublin IEX markets and has its head office in Dublin. His other interests include a majority shareholding in Digisoft.tv, a Cork-based company, which is a global provider of software solutions for the Interactive TV and IPTV markets.
