A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother of three in Dublin.
34-year-old Skaidrite Valdgeima was stabbed in an apartment in the Bonham Street area of the city in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were Called to the Binary Hubb Apartment in the Bonham Street area of Dublin 8 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
They discovered Ms Valdgeema with a number of stab injuries – she brought to hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 22-year-old man has appeared in court this afternoon charged with her murder.
Dressed in a grey sweatshirt and navy tracksuit bottoms. The court heard that Latvian national Valerijs Leitons of St Kevins Gardens Dartry D.6 made no reply when charged.
A request was made that he receive the appropriate psychiatric and medical attention
He’s been remanded in custody at Cloverhill to appear again Next Friday.
The 34-year-old was originally from Latvia but had lived in Blessington, Co Wicklow, for several years.
