Last week, AC/DC kicked off their much anticipated Power Up tour in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, their first show on the continent in 8 years.

Performing a range of celebrated tracks, AC/DC began with a live rendition of ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’.

Other much loved AC/DC tracks performed on the night also included, ‘Thunderstruck’, ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’, ‘Highway To Hell’, along with ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep’.

The band also treated the fans to material from their most recent album, ‘Power Up’ from 2020, with a live performance of ‘Demon Fire’.

AC/DC Say: “It’s wonderful to see you all again”

Following their opening song of the night, the band’s frontman Brian Johnson addressed the audience.

“Wonderful to see you all again!”, Johnson stated.  “Enjoy yourself, OK?”, before launching into classic hit, ‘Back In Black’.

Having performed 22 tracks non-stop, AC/DC momentarily departed the stage, only to return to perform ‘T.N.T’, and ‘For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)’.

Last week AC/DC shared a photo of their line up ahead of this tour, which included bassist Chris Chaney, and drummer Matt Laug, alongside singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus Young and Steve Youn.
