One pride not enough for ya?
Following a record attendance at their June event, Dublin Pride are hosting a second parade at Love Sensation this August.
The LGBT+ community, along with their many allies, will descend on Royal Hospital Kilmainham for the new Love Sensation festival and Dublin Pride will be fundraising for the Pride Community Fund and their GIANT pride flag will be on the move throughout the site.
Love Sensation sees headliners Lily Allen, Clean Bandit, Gossip and Kelis take to the main stage on August 17th & 18th while The Queen of Ireland, PANTI BLISS will be the hostess with the mostest on both days.
Le Galaxie, Jenny Greene, Sink the Pink DJs, Elm, Shirley Temple Bar and Sing Along Social will also make appearances across the two days.
Expect tons of surprises from The George Stage, a Mother Dance Tent you won’t want to leave and a host of RuPaul Drag Race Queens brought to you by Dublin drag legends ‘Dragged Up’ including Monet X Change, Naomi Smalls, Jujubee, Laganja Estranja & Sonique.
Love Sensation is brought to you by the team behind Mother who recently held the sold out Block Party as part of Pride.
Love Sensation promoter and founder of Mother, Cormac Cashman, says “ Love Sensation feels like a natural progression for us. We’ve wanted to run a music festival for years, something that caters to our community and focuses on inclusivity, fun, good music, good times and sound people. We’ve been lucky enough to have amazing success with our Pride Block Party (now in its 9th year) so 2019 feels right for us to grow even bigger and launch our very own music Festival!”
This coming Wednesday, The George and Love Sensation are also teaming up for a little after work Love Sensation listening party. All are invited from 6.30pm-8.30pm at the George with a drinks reception, some light bites, live performance, DJs banging out tunes from the artists you’ll see at Love Sensation & a focus on our stunning local talent.
