Irish Rugby have called off all of their weekend’s Ulster Bank Rugby fixtures.

Tonight’s rugby league Super League clash between Hull KR and Castleford has been postponed because of the weather. The decision was made with temperatures expected to drop to as low as minus 6 degrees celsius.

Meanwhile, today’s race meetings on the all-weather tracks at Kempton and Newcastle were abandoned. Sunday and Monday’s cards at Leopardstown have been called off.
