The trailer for the Black Sabbath film ‘The End Of The End’ has been released. The iconic heavy metal band performed their speculated final concert on the 4th of February of this year.

Since then, the band has officially confirmed that ‘The End’ tour was in fact the end of the bands 49 year rein in music. However, all’s not lost, because they also announced that a documentary film of the final tour would be shown in cinemas across the globe later in the year. The film is titled ‘The End of The End’ and will be shown in 1,500 cinemas worldwide for one night only on the 28th September 2017.

Watch the trailer here:

‘The End Of The End’ chronicles the tour finale set in Birmingham, the city where it all began, for their 81st gig after almost half a century writing and performing music. The film will feature live footage from their final show as well as behind-the-scenes clips and studio footage of the band playing songs that didn’t make the final set-list.

In a press release, the band said: “To bring it all back home after all these years was pretty special. It was so hard to say goodbye to the fans who have been incredibly loyal to us through the years.”

“We never dreamed in the early days that we’d be here 49 years later doing our last show on our home turf.”

Front-man Ozzy Osbourne added: “What a journey we’ve all had. It’s fucking amazing.”

‘The End Of The End’ was directed by Dick Carruthers, who also directed Led Zeppelin‘s Celebration Day and can be seen on Thursday 28th September 2017 in the following cinemas in Dublin:
