An eight-year-old boy who was attacked by two dogs in Dublin has died from his injuries in hospital. Gardaí discovered the boy with life-threatening injuries after a call yesterday.
The boy was attacked by two Rottweiler dogs. At around 4pm, the emergency services responded to a 999 call at a house in Tallaght.
Gardaí said they were investigating all circumstances surrounding the attack, but were treating it as a tragic incident.
The dog warden was notified and the dogs were confiscated and killed.
