Brian May On Bohemian Rhapsody: ‘It’s A Freddie Movie’

Brian May says he feels like an overexcited child to see the Queen biopic finally make it to the big screen.

Bohemian Rhapsody portrays the four band members as they rise to the top, progressing from pub gigs to their iconic 1985 Live Aid performance at Wembley stadium.

Speaking at last night’s world premiere, the guitar legend said the film was really all about just one man.

“It’s a Freddie movie, it’s not a Queen movie, it’s a Freddie movie and a the whole deal was to you know do him justice in a way that would enjoy – you know – so it’s all there –  the humour is there, the talent is there, the heartbreak is there.”
