Bruce Springsteen Working on Solo Project

Bruce Springsteen has revealed in a recent interview that he is working on a new album by himself. However he said that this time he won’t be working with the E Street Band.

Springsteen released his latest album High Hopes in 2014. Like most of his output, it featured regular backing band the E Street Band. This time around though he says it will be a solo project without his long time collaborators by his side.

His last release without the E Street band was Devils & Dust back in 2005. Bruce Springsteen confirmed the news of the solo project in a recent interview with SiriusXM’s E Street Radio.

Springsteen has also recently unveiled plans to mark his 1980 album The River during his upcoming 2016 tour.The live stint has been announced in support of Springsteen’s new reissue of the album, which was his fifth studio LP at the time of its release.

The River Tour will see Springsteen touring North America from January to March, kicking things off in Pittsburgh on January 16 and finishing up with two shows in Los Angeles from March 15-17.
