He told Sky Sports News, things went to plan.

Everton’s dreadful record away from home seems to have no end in sight.

It’s now one win in the last 23 and they’ve lost the last six.

Burnley  remain in seventh, finally up to 40 points.

Everton meanwhile stay in ninth,

They are on 34 points, just seven clear of the drop zone.

Sam Allardyce knows that’s not good enough from Everton, who were

appaling in the second half.

Everton fans were not happy with the poor performance and they let him

know in no uncertain terms.

Burnley’s long wait for a three-point haul is finally over thanks to a storming

second-half performance!
