Our Gavin Glass has got a jam packed show this Sunday with two brand new Irish acts making their debut. Silences and Dark Horses.

Make sure you tune in from 6pm Sunday for Locals Only with Gavin Glass RADIO NOVA. He will also be getting into the Guitar Riff Weekend spirit with a triple play of three favourite Irish guitar players.

Kildare based, Blaithín CARNEY has two main loves; Music & English. She has a background in classical music and studied piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music at a young age. Years later, having graduated from UCD with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music and English, she returned to the Academy to undertake a Masters in Music Performance.

Carney has collaborated with Sir Paul Holmes (the New Zealand broadcaster, reporter, writer and singer), renowned vocal coach, Tine Verbeke – who contributed significantly to CARNEY’s development and presence as a vocalist and Nova’s Gavin Glass.
