The new trailer for the upcoming Formula 1 blockbuster starring Brad Pitt, has been released.
This film, titled F1, which is directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) will see Pitt star alongside Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem.
Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton will also co-produce F1.
Filming for this movie has been shot at Silverstone over recent weeks, with Brad Pitt having also shot scenes in between practice sessions at last year’s British Grand Prix.
Pitt will star as a veteran driver named Sonny Hayes, returning to the F1 circuit after a long absence, with British actor Damson Idris playing rookie teammate Joshua Pierce in this film.

“It’s a whirlwind”
Speaking about the film, Damson Idris has said that it will be “unlike anything anyone’s ever seen before”.
“It’s unlike anything anyone’s ever seen before”, Idris said. “It’s a whirlwind, we’re driving cars for real”.
“I play a character called Joshua Pierce, a young rookie driver on a fictional team by the name of Apex”.
Damson Idris also spoke highly of Lewis Hamilton, who has also been advising actors how to drive the car realistically.
“There’s no better person to teach you about F1 than Lewis Hamilton”, he said. “So, Lewis comes in and he essentially calls BS. He lets us know that ‘Hey, that wouldn’t happen’, which is a rarity in this art form”.
He continued: “So to have someone who lives, breathes and sleeps Formula One, where I know their hands have been on this movie, it’s unlike anything I’ve done before”.
“They put me behind the wheel, and I had some driving experience – I’ve driven fast cars before – but it’s unlike anything that we’re doing right now”.
“inspiring”
Damson Idris also said that Hamilton has had an “inspiring” impact on him.
Saying that everyone could “take a bit of Lewis’s fight into your life”, Idris also added: “Lewis beautiful Hamilton, who we all admire, who we were all inspired by, he just gave an amazing talk downstairs, which was incredibly moving for me”.
“I’ll always show up for him, he doesn’t get enough praise, I think”.
“Aside from being just a fantastic sportsman, he has pushed the sport in such a positive direction, he’s innovated”.
Damson Idris and Brad Pitt also appeared at last week’s British Grand Prix, which was won by Lewis Hamilton.
Kings of Leon kicked off Silverstone’s celebrations ahead of the Grand Prix, as part of a star studded line up. More on this here.
