Queens Of The Stone Age and Run The Jewels have inspired a new mash-up album.

Mashup artist ToToM has brought together an unlikely pairing of Josh Homme’s vocals and Run The Jewel’s El-P. Arguably, no one can surpass ‘Walk This Way’, the crossover collaboration between Aerosmith and Run DMC. However, despite doing away with the stoner rock riffage, this is a pretty awesome offering. You can stream the album in full below.

QOSA have given their approval in the form of a single flame emoji on social media.

Run The Jewels Member El-P tweeted, ‘Someone did a mash up album of @qotsa vocals over various music I’ve made and it’s kind of awesome. Thanks for this weird gift,’

Meanwhile, Josh Homme and his merry band of stoners have been confirmed they will play the Eden Project in the UK this Summer, July 3rd. Apart from a headline appearance with Iggy Pop at Finsbury Park in London in June this will be their only UK show. Other acts set to play the Eden Project over the Summer are Massive Attack, Levellers, New Model Army, Reef, Dreadzone and Ginger Wildheart.
