Speaking of Coldplay at Wembley, Chris Martin and co welcomed a string of household names onto the stage, to perform a string of live covers from Grease, to Natalie Imbruglia, Kate Bush and ABBA.
Over the weekend, Coldplay welcomed Alan Partridge, Nicole Lawrence and Jacob Coller to the stage. This new supergroup performed ABBA’s ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’, and Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up The Hill’.
Alan Partridge took over the reigns as lead vocalist, while Chris Martin played acoustic guitar, Nicole Lawrence played pedal guitar, and Jacob Collier played piano. More on this here.
The band had earlier performed a live cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s ‘Torn’ with the singer herself. Check that out here.
