Durex condoms have seen a surge in sales as social distancing restrictions have begun to ease.
Reckitt, the consumer giant behind the brand, reported growth in the first quarter of the year in areas including China and Europe – compared to a year ago.
That included parts of the US, south east Asia and Europe, the consumer goods giant said.
In addition Reckitt said growth in its health arm, which includes condoms and “sexual wellbeing products“, rose 12.6% in the last three months.
Overall, sales across its products were up by 4.1%. However it’s also seen a decline for baby formula products – thought to be down to lower birth rates.
