David Bowie has released a teaser for his upcoming single ‘Lazarus’ which is set to release later this week. The single is off his upcoming new album Blackstar which comes out at the start of next year.
David Bowie had already released the lead single off the album ‘Blackstar’ earlier this year on November 20th. It is his first album since The Next Day which released in 2013 and overall it’s his twenty-fifth studio album.
The album was supposedly made in New York where he lives with his wife Iman, his 25th album is coming in early January which is just in time for his 69th birthday.
The new album is said to feature none other than LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and as David Bowie said it was inspired by Californian rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Bowie recently revealed that his next single ‘Lazarus’ will be released on the 18th of December, after being premiered the day before on BBC 6 Music at 5.15pm.’Lazarus’ will also be used for Bowie’s new Broadway musical of the same name and is the only track on the album featured in it.
