David Gilmour has confirmed a residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The shows which mark the former Pink Floyd guitarist’s first live shows in eight years, will see him play six concerts at the famous venue this October.
The residency will see Gilmour support his latest album ‘Luck and Strange’, which arrives on September 6.

Gilmour On Being “entertaining and fun”
David Gilmour had previously hinted about going out on tour, in support of this new album.
Offering fans a sneak preview into the music he will play on stage, Gilmour had this to say.
“Yeah, they might be better represented. I mean, at least one from the 60s. The one we’ve done in the past is ‘Astronomy [The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, 1967]. That’s always entertaining and fun and gets people off to a happy start”, he said.
He also added, “There’s songs from the Momentary Lapse Of Reason and The Division Bell albums. I mean, I think ‘High Hopes’ is as good as anything we ever did at any time”.
