Revenue Officers have seized over €59,000 worth of herbal cannabis and smuggled cigarettes.
Two separate operations in the Dublin and Athlone Mail Centres uncovered the illegal goods.
Seven parcels were seized in the capital, in which 1.6 kilograms of cannabis was discovered by Bailey, the detector dog.
Meanwhile in Athlone, 65 parcels were seized, with 880 grams of cannabis and over 13-thousand cigarettes inside.
All parcels in both centres had false labels on them, with some described as clothing, DVD players, textiles, playing cards and jigsaws.
