A driver of a vehicle who was on temporary release from prison for driving offenses was nabbed by gardai with roughly 45 years worth of bans.
The driver was arrested by the guards and now faces a court appearance after being discovered with no licence, no insurance and no tax.
Gardai also seized the vehicle. In a statement, gardai said:
“DMR Roads policing stop a driver on temporary release from prison for driving offences. Serving 45 years of driving bans. No licence, insurance or tax. Vehicle seized. Driver arrested and Court to follow.”
