What time will the RDS be open on Thursday 13th of June?
Gates open at 6pm. Please do not arrive before 6pm as queueing won’t be allowed!

According to fans, you can expect the concert to start between 8 and 9pm

Where you should enter the venue and which route you should take to get there will be listed on your ticket. If you’re unsure, ask security / Gardaí outside the venue on the day of the event to help you.

This tour might be a mixed of bag emotions for fans of Fleetwood Mac, as guitarist Lindsey Buckingham parted ways with the band right before they announced their plans to hit the road.

This Live Nation tour will comprise of the new line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie with newcomers and legends in their own right, Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.

Speaking about the new line up the band how rehearsals for the show went:  “Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents.”

The band continued: “We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realize that this is the right combination to go forward in Fleetwood Mac style.”

An adult can accompany up to 4 minors with them to the event.
Security may ask you to prove your age so please ensure to bring ID with you to the concert.

Getting There

Directions by Train

The DART service operates from the City Centre to Ballsbridge. Lansdowne Station and Sandymount Station are approximately a 5-minute walk from the RDS.

Directions from Sandymount Station: Follow the exit signs and turn right onto Sandymount Avenue.

Directions By Car

From outside Trinity College head south east on R138 and continue to the end of Nassau Street. At the traffic lights turn right onto Clare Street following the signposts for the R118. Follow the R118 (also known as Mount Street which becomes Merrion Road) for approximately 2km. The RDS Main Complex will be situated on the right hand side in Ballsbridge.

To go to the Simmonscourt Complex continue along the Merrion Road and at the next crossroads turn right onto Simmonscourt Road. The RDS Simmonscourt Complex is situated on the left hand side after the two office buildings.

Directions By Bus

The RDS is serviced by several bus routes nationally (see Bus Éireann) and locally by Dublin Bus. The direct Dublin Bus routes to RDS Ballsbridge from Nassau Street outside Trinity College:

4    From Harristown To Monkstown Avenue via Ballsbridge (Anglesea Rd.)
7    From Mountjoy Sq. Towards Loughlinstown/ Cherrywood via Ballsbridge (Anglesea Rd.)
18   From Palmerstown (Old Lucan Rd.) Towards Sandymount via Ballsbridge (Anglesea Rd.)

27X  From UCD Belfield To Clare Hall Via RDS Ballsbridge

There are also multiple routes serviced to and from the nearby Donnybrook Road, Bus Garage on the N11 which is only 10 minutes walking distance from the RDS. They are 46a, 145, 32x, 39a, 41x, 7b, 51x, 66x and 67x
