Flights have now resumed at Dublin Airport after the runway was forced to close because of a drone sighting.

It was spotted over the airfield – forcing all flights to be grounded before 11 am this morning.

The incident has led to a number of knock-on delays.

Dublin Airport has apologised for any inconvenience and says the safety and security of passengers is its top priority.

All passengers are being advised to check their airline’s website for updates.
