Two Arrested After Stabbing Incident On Finglas Road

Man Gets 14 Years In Jail

Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident on the Finglas Road in Dublin last night.

A young man was hospitalised last night after a stabbing incident on the Finglas road.

The man in his early 20s is being treated after he received a wound to his face and neck during the incident at 8pm on Tuesday night.

He was taken to hospital for the wounds but his injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Two men were later arrested and are currently detained at Finglas Garda Station.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Finglas are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on the Finglas Rd at approximately 8pm on the 16th of October 2018.

“A man in early 20’s received a wound to his face and neck during the incident. He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life threatening.

“Two men were later arrested and are currently detained at Finglas Garda Station. The investigation is ongoing.”
