Two gardaí were hospitalised after one of their patrol cars was involved in a crash in Dublin yesterday evening.
Their squad car flipped over while on their way to a call-out in Ringsend.
A man and a woman were in the car when the car flipped on Pigeon House Road shortly after 5pm.
Both officers were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where they are being treated for minor injuries.
The squad car was responding to a call regarding youths gathering bonfire fuel.
Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating the incident and no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
