Family Of 'BOY B' Who Was Convicted Of Ana Kriegal's Murder 'Forced Into Hiding'

A man is still being questioned by Gardaí investigating a murder in Sligo.

It’s after the discovery of a man’s body in the town yesterday. A post mortem is due to be carried out later today.

Officers were called to the scene of an incident in Sligo Town yesterday afternoon.

It happened at Connolly Street and Gardai believe a 20 year-old man was the victim of an assault. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man was arrested as part of the investigation and is being questioned at Ballymote Garda Station.

An appeal for witnesses has been made and for anyone who may have information on the incident to contact Gardaí.
