Gardai believe the car involved in a hit and run in Dublin in which a 28 year old cyclist was killed was being driven by a teenager.
Brazilian national Thiago Cortes died yesterday after the incident on Monday on North Wall Quay.
Thiago’s fiancé Teresa Dantes today appealed for driver of the car to ‘be brave’ and come forward.
Crime Editor with the Irish Sun Stephen Breen says gardai believe four people were in the car at the time.
”Gardaí are satisfied that the car was bought for just actually a hundred euro.”
“It was a run-around car with no tax, no insurance and no NCT.”
“…and Gardaí believe there were four individuals in the car.”
“They’re also satisfied they have identified the driver of the car who is believed to be a teenager.”
Hundreds of people attended a vigil for Thiago yesterday evening at The Spire.
