Gardai are investigating after a boy and two young men were stabbed in a series of attacks in Limerick overnight.

The injured range in age from 14 to 18. There’s no known motive as yet and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

The attacks occurred in the vicinity of Corbally Baths, near the Mill Road, a normally quiet suburb of the city.

When gardai responded they discovered an ambulance crew treating a 14-year old boy for minor stab wounds.

An 18-year old man and a 16-year old teenager also received serious, but, non-life threatening stab wounds.

Gardai at Ardnacrusha are investigating.
