Gardaí were called to the scene of a serious assault in Baldoyle, Dublin 13 which is reported to have happened at around 1pm this afternoon, (Wednesday 28th January 2021).
A man in his 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile gardaí arrested a man in his 30s at the scene and is currently being detained at Clontarf Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. .
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination as investigations are ongoing.
