Gardaí Make Appeal For Witnesses After Assault In Temple Bar

Gardaí have made an appeal for witnesses following an alleged assault in Temple Bar. The incident happened in the popular tourist spot in Dublin on Monday.

A man, aged in his 30s was taken to St James’ hospital after receiving injuries to his head and face after the apparent attack on Fleet Street at roughly 2am. The man was then released.

A man also in his 30s was apprehended near the scene and was charged in court over relation to the incident.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who was in the Temple Bar area on the night of Sunday, January 6th / 7th to contact them at Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 6669000.
