Glastonbury Kicks Off

Thousands of music fans have begun to descend on a 900-acre patch of Somerset to set-up camp for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The gates were opened at 8am by organiser Michael Eavis, who told attendees “it’s never been as good’.

This year’s event sold out in 36 minutes.

Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure will perform over the coming days.
