Duff McKagan, bassist with Guns N’ Roses has revealed dates for a summer tour of Europe. The rocker is hitting the road in support of his forthcoming record, “Tenderness.” Full dates including an Irish festival appearance are below!
With his producer, Shooter Jennings and his group in tow, McKagan will kick off the three-week stint in Warsaw, Poland on August 22nd, with the tour is due to conclude in Milan, Italy on September 8th.
The album “Tenderness” was heavily influenced by McKagan’s experience of touring with Guns on their massively long Not In This Lifetime reunion tour.
Antimusic reports that whenever he could get some spare time McKagan would work on the project with Shooter. The album is due to drop on May 31st. McKagan explained how the record was realised:
“Fortune shone my way when Shooter and I began to work on the structures of the songs. Shooter has a brilliant mind, and a seemingly endless musical catalogue bouncing around in his head that he’s ready to tap into at any moment. He believed in this thing from day one, and that gave me the confidence and energy to forge on.” See the dates below:
