Several politicians including some government ministers say they will boycott Donald Trump’s visit to Ireland this November.

The Taoiseach says there’s a standing invitation for any US President to come to Ireland.

But speaking last night Leo Varadkar said news of President Trumps visit came “a little bit out of the blue”.

Protests have been planned to coincide with the visit.
