Insurance Costs

A Dublin publican is claiming high insurance costs are killing the nightclub scene.

A number of well-established venues have shut down in the capital recently with insurance suggested as one of the reasons for the move.

The growing trend of late bars over dedicated nightclubs is also being blamed.

Managing Director of the pub Lemon and Duke, Noel Anderson, says the reason drink prices are increasing is because of insurance and rates.
