Jack Osbourne, has given an update on his dad’s health. This news comes after Ozzy was forced to cancel his 2019 tour due to a number of health issues.
Earlier in February of this year, the Black Sabbath singer had to postpone dates in the Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
That was after the rocker was hospitalised with pneumonia. He then had to cancel all forthcoming 2019 shows when the Dark Lord endured a subsequent fall.
The NME reports that Ozzy’s wife Sharon recently admitted that he “was in a coma for days” due to his injuries and underlying illness.
Now, Jack, speaking on The Jenny McCarthy Show, has given an update on the rocker’s present condition. “He’s doing really well. He’s good. He’s getting back on his feet, so he’s good.”
In another interview with People, Jack also said that the unstoppable frontman is “back to being his cynical old self”, which he added:
“Is always a good sign. When he’s complaining about mundane things, you know he’s good. Yeah, he’s back to normal. When everything on TV sucks and everything in the house is broken, he’s in a good spot.”
When Ozzy was forced to cancel the tour dates he said:
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going.”
Ozzy recently revealed that he misses his fellow frontman Lemmy from Motorhead: Read more on that story here.
