Jimi’s old haunt, Soho celebrates the release of “People, Hell and Angels”
The first ever Jimi Hendrix pop-up store will be opened in the heart of London’s Soho.
Available from 1-12 April at 8 Ganton Street, the shop will sell limited edition merchandise – alongside ‘Plug & Play demo stations’ for Fender guitars. The store will also feature a Gered Mankowitz photography exhibition. Mankowitz himself will be making an appearence from 3-6pm on Saturday 6 April, giving talks on his work with Hendrix and signing exclusive prints of his photographs.
‘Jimi Hendrix Master Classes’ will be held in the basement, where guitar players can learn classic Hendrix riffs and licks.
Copies of “People, Hell and Angels” will also be available to purchase, alongside the entire Hendrix back catalogue.
