Having caught the eye and ear of The 1975's Matty Healy, Manchester's Pale Waves are quickly going from strength to strength in both the US and UK. Front-woman of the band, Heather Baron-Gracie sat down with NME in October to talk about the band.
“I just love pop music, and when it makes you feel something, it’s even better.” said Heather, 22, who formed Pale Waves four years ago with her best friend Ciara Doran. Guitarist Hugo Silvani and Bassist Charlie Wood later joined.
"People say we’re like two sets of twins," said Heather. "You couldn’t dress Hugo and Charlie up as goths because it just wouldn’t work. Well, we do the make-up sometimes and dress them up in my little skirts and things – but that’s just for us."
The band have already received rave reviews from various media outlets.
