Queen + Adam Lambert: Everything You Need To Know

Cíara Spain By Cíara Spain - July 6, 2018

Queen + Adam Lambert are back again for another epic performance, this time they're making their way to Dublin's Marlay Park.

Sunday, July 8th is the date and they're about to rock around the block one more time, and with a limited number of tickets still available this a gig you need to jump on now!

They sold out the 3Arena last November, and we've been raving about it ever since, so when they made the surprise announcement of their return to Ireland we were bowled over.

The summer open-air concert will once again showcase the band's spectacular new stage production which was conceived around the 40th anniversary of Queen’s News of the World album.

Moreover - they have a serious line-up for their support acts in Boomtown Rats and The Darkness.

If you're heading along - please take public transport where possible. Keep in mind that backpacks and large bags will not be allowed; only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 will be permitted.

A shuttle bus will operate between Dundrum Luas station and Stonemasons Way, near the festival entrance. The shuttle will depart Dundrum every 30 minutes from 3pm until 6.30pm. Return buses to Dundrum Luas from Marlay Park will depart from 10.30pm until midnight each evening and will leave on first come first serve basis. You can visit www.bushiredublin.net for full details and purchase your online ticket.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over 18 and you may also be asked to prove your age with photo ID, acceptable forms of proof include: Passport, Garda age card or driving licence.

The concert isn't sold out just yet with a limited number of tickets still available so jump on that one fast! Entrance for pedestrians will only be through the Grange Road gates, and no prior queuing will be permitted.

And this is a little sneak peek of what we think you can expect to hear on the night! Enjoy

When I'm not at my desk you'll find me hiding behind a lens, a book or attending GAA games across the country. If not, I'll be busy complaining about the weather!

Also – I’m a festival lover, so when the summers out I spend most of my time nestled in the sweaty trench of any concert hall that will let me in the doors...

Standard and basic – enjoy :)
