Tribute Band 'The Smyths' Announce Gig At The Academy Green Room Next April

'The Smiths' Tribute Band, 'The Smyths' will play live at The Academy Green Room on Friday, April 13th.

The Smyths “Unite & Take Over” tour combines the best and biggest hits from The Smiths and Morrissey's solo work. The shows are a bit of a nod to the 30th anniversary of Morrissey's first solo single and album. Expect to hear the best of the singer's work along with The Smiths' classics, with songs such as “Everyday is Like Sunday”, “Suedehead”, “First Of The Gang To Die”, “Irish Blood, English Heart” and several more.


The 2 hour, 2 set show is sure to entertain and delight Smiths and Morrissey fans alike. Tickets are €20 including booking fee and will go on sale this Friday, August 11th at 10am from Ticketmaster. The gig will be over 18's and ID is required at the door. Doors are at 7pm.
