U2 released their brand new single last week, 'You're The Best Thing About Me' and then performed it on Jimmy Fallon. The track is the first to be released off upcoming album 'Songs of Experience', which is due to be released on the 1st of December.

And what better way to promote the new single than performing it live on Jimmy Fallon? They also performed 'Bullet The Blue Sky' from their 'Joshua Tree' album just for the craic. Check out 'You're The Best Thing About Me' performance below!

The lads also sat down for a chat with Fallon, with Bono describing the new song as "punk Supremes" and "punk-Motown". He also said the following about the new record:  “It’s defiant joy, we call it, It’s a love song to my Mrs, and in these difficult times it’s important to tell your loved ones how you feel.”

The Edge added: “I think, maybe even more important than ever in these times, it’s important to have that joy because that’s the best response.”

'Songs of Experience' is the follow-up album to the 2014 record, 'Songs Of Innocence'.
