Over 450 students who got incorrect Leaving Cert results will receive a new CAO offer this morning.
About 6,100 students had their marks upgraded after coding errors were discovered, and it affected about 7 per cent of their offers.
Students will be included in the fourth round of the CAO today, with offers available online from 10 o’clock. Successful applicants will also receive an email, and a text message if they have selected this option on their application form.
The CAO Round 4 offers on Thursday at 10am will include the offers arising from corrections to calculated grades. Welcome news. Excellent work underway by higher education institutions, the CAO & the @hea_irl. Will keep you updated

Minister of State for Higher Education, Niall Collins, says there will be good news for those affected by the calculated grades errors.
Students have until Tuesday 13 October to accept their new offer.
