Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page has said that he is working on “multiple projects”.

Speaking to Classic Rock magazine, Jimmy Page has given an update on new music, hinting that he is working on an album.

In the same interview, Page also said that he turned down the chance to collaborate on Ozzy Osbourne’s new album.

“various things”

On his future projects, Jimmy Page told Classic Rock magazine that he is keeping his fingers in several pies.

“There’s various things I’m working towards”, he said.

“It’s not just one thing, it’s multiple things, and I don’t want to even give a hint, because if you do … you give a one-sentence sound bite, and then if it doesn’t materialise, it’s like: ‘Why didn’t you do a solo album?’ So I don’t want to say what it is that I’ve got planned, because I don’t want to give people the chance to misinterpret it”, Jimmy added.

“I really can’t put on record what the new record is. I’ll leave it to your imagination”, Page said of his new album.

The thing is there are so many ways I could present myself right now. Actually, not right now. I’ll rephrase that: within a space of time”.

Speaking of Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Page, their former bassist John Paul Jones re-recorded the band’s ‘When the Levee Breaks’. This special cover also featured 17 musicians from across the world.

All proceeds from this track went towards various causes. These included  American Rivers, Reverb, WWF, Conservation International and the Playing for Change Foundation.

This performance also included Sámi vocalist Elle Márjá Eira, Congo musician Mermans Mosengo, Māori artist Mihirangi, and Nigerian percussionist Sikiru Adepoju.

Janes Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins also features in the video, along side married couple Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi from the Tedeschi Trucks band.
