Donald Trump Declares Victory As Counting Continues

The Taoiseach says he wouldn’t criticise anyone who plans to protest during Donald Trump’s visit to Ireland.

The US President is expected to spend a number of days here at the start of June.

It’s no surprise that Donald Trump’s trip to Ireland will attract some controversy.

He’s due here between the 5th and 8th of June after his state visit to the UK.

Details are still being finalised, but he’s due to meet the Taoiseach as part of the trip.

Leo Varadkar says people should be allowed to protest if they want while some politicians have been voicing their opposition.

We should hear more details about the visit from the White House in the next few weeks.
