The Isle of Wight has confirmed their line up for 2021, with the likes of Liam Gallagher, Duran Duran and Snow Patrol set to headline the event. David Guetta is to also make an appearance.

Organisers for the Seaclose Park event confirmed the line up and that it will take place between the 16th-19th of September, having had to push back their orginal June slot, due to the pandemic.

Former Oasis star, Liam Gallagher will headline the event on Friday. Snow Patrol and David Guetta will top the bill on the Saturday. Duran Duran will then close the event on Sunday.

Speaking of Liam Gallagher! It also appears that the apple has not fallen far from the tree, as his son Lennon has joined rock band Automotion. Check that story out here!

Other acts set to also perform at this Isle of Wight event include, Tom Jones, Kaiser Chiefs, Imelda May, Sam Fender, The Script, You Me At 6, Primal Scream as well as Sophie-Ellis Baxtor and many more!

“See you in September” – Isle of Wight boss

Isle of Wight boss John Giddings was thrilled to confirm the news of a return to live music.

Giddings said, “Our audience always has an incredible time at the festival and we’re thrilled with the line-up on offer for them. It’s a fantastic array of artists; from icons to emerging talent and not forgetting everything still to come from additional stages across the festival”.

He added, “Over the coming months we’ll be watching and learning from the events taking place before us and, of course, liaising with all the relevant authorities to make sure everyone, audience, artists, staff, the community, is kept safe”.

He concluded by saying, “See you in September”. A message of hope in itself!

We also confirmed recently that festivals in Reading and Leeds are also planned to go ahead. Check out Nova’s reports on this news here.
