As the massive Appetite For Destruction reissue drops today, Guns and Roses have shared an unheard version of ‘November Rain’. Listen below to the 10 minute piano demo…

It’s Axl Rose’s vocals accompanied by a piano in a 10-minute, rendition of the 1991 classic. The band’s anthemic single would later appear on their third album Use Your Illusion I. The recording is over a minute longer than the original single and displays Rose sketching out the epic chord changes while he sings away banging on the keys in time.

His backing vocals appear at various points without lyrics to indicate where the choir will appear on the completed single. Rose recorded the demo, along with 24 other tunes, during a 1986 session at the infamous Sound City studio and they all appear on the Appetite for Destruction reissue box set, out today.

Guns N’ Roses also shared unboxing videos for their expanded reissues of their 1987 debut record.
