Gardai in Dublin say two lanes are now open on the M50 at the scene of a collision, North Bound between Junction 12 Firhouse and Junction 11 Tallaght.
Traffic is moving through slowly and motorists are being advised to expect delays due to the high volume of traffic at this location.
The section of motorway had been closed to traffic for a time earlier this morning.
