Covid restrictions have significantly been eased today for the first time in months.
Personal services such as hairdressers, barbers and beauticians reopened their doors for the first time this year while intercounty travel is now permitted.
It is believed that 12,000 businesses are expected to reopen this week.
Click and collect retail returns, along with visiting shops by appointment – ahead of a planned full reopening of the retail sector next Monday.
Religious services are also permitted, and galleries, museums, and libraries are also back open.
