A man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed in Kildare overnight.
The man, who’s in his early 30s, received serious stab wounds on Duke Street, Athy in the early hours of this morning.
He’s since been removed to Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise where his condition is being described as critical.
The scene has been preserved and investigations are ongoing.
