Man Dies Following Two Car Collision In County Meath

A man in his 20s has been killed following a two car crash in County Meath. It happened outside Kells yesterday evening.

The 24-year-old man was a passenger in a car which collided with another car at Boynabought, Kilmainhamwood at around 8pm.

The driver of the car – also a 24 year-old man – and the man driving the other car, were taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where there injuries are described as non-life threatening.

The road at Kilmainhamwood is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.

Gardaí in Navan are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
