A pedestrian has died after a crash in Wicklow. It happened in the early hours of this morning.
The man in his 40s died after he was struck by a car on the R755 at Larragh in Co. Wicklow. It happened shortly after two o’clock this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the car – a woman in her 20s – was not injured.
The Roundwood/Rathdrum Road road remains closed this morning. That’s to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
