A man shot in North Dublin this morning has died.
At around half 6:30 this morning, a man in his 30s was shot a number of times outside a house on Marigold Cresent in Darndale.
He was brought to Beaumont Hospital, where he has now been pronounced dead.
Gardaí have cordoned off the scene and a technical examination is due to take place.
While the investigation is just hours old, Gardaí say it is likely a targeted attack.
They are appealing to anyone with information to contact the incident room at Coolock Garda Station or the Garda confidential line.
