Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered at a house in west Dublin this afternoon.
The body of the man, believed to be in his twenties, was discovered shortly before 3 o clock at Woodville estate, Lucan.
It’s understood that the man had suffered gunshot wounds to his body.
However Gardai have not yet established the cause of death.
Gardai are currently at the scene and a property on Woodville Avenue has been sealed off.
The State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy has been notified.
